Send a Text Message in ActiveCampaign

Overview

Although you can't send messages directly inside the ActiveCampaign platform, you can easily text a contact via the Sakari application and view message history inside ActiveCampaign.

Send a message from Sakari

To send a new message:

  • Make sure you have selected the intended Group from the dropdown
  • Click "New message" in the top right corner of the screen
  • Search for your Contact in the "To:" field of the newly created message
  • Type a message
  • Click "Send"

View the message in ActiveCampaign

Once you send your message, you should be able to see it in the contact's profile directly inside ActiveCampaign.  You'll also be able to see any responses from the contact.

There you have it: you've sent a text message to your ActiveCampaign contact!
