Configure an ActiveCampaign user in Sakari

Enable Sakari messaging for ActiveCampaign users by configuring their User log-in profile in Sakari.  Sakari accounts allow unlimited user log-in profiles to be created for free. 

  • ActiveCampaign users must have a Sakari log-in profile to utilize the integration
  • An ActiveCampaign user's log-in profile must be added to the appropriate Sakari Group to view messages in the Sakari widget in ActiveCampaign
  • Messages from a specific Sender are only visible to ActiveCampaign users added to that Sender's Group in Sakari

Note: User setup requires actions in Sakari from an account Administrator and the individual ActiveCampaign user

1. Administrator adds user email to Sakari 

Sakari user profiles must be created from the same email used to log in to ActiveCampaign.

  1. Go to hub.sakari.io/settings/users
  2. Add user email in Invite team members
  3. Select the permission set for the user (see Add, Manage, and Remove Users)
  4. Click 'Invite'

This step grants access to the Sakari platform by email and password.

2. User completes log-in profile

Users must complete this step before they can be added to a Group.

1. The user receives an email invitation to join the Sakari account:

2. The user is required to add their name when first logging in to Sakari.

3. Administrator configures access to messaging

Add a user's log-in profile to a Group to permit them to:

  • see messages (outbound and inbound) in ActiveCampaign that use the Sender in the Group

In the example below, the users in the 'Sales Team' Group have these permissions for the number beginning 866:
