All text messages in Sakari pass through this sequence of statuses. Not all will be displayed for each message.
- New - the message is newly created and waiting to be assigned the appropriate status
- Validated - the message has been approved in Sakari for sending to the provider of the outbound number
- Queued - the message has been sent to the provider of the outbound number
- Sent - the provider of the outbound number has sent the message to the outbound carrier, and is awaiting an acknowledgement from the inbound carrier that they have forwarded the message to the receiving handset
- Delivered - the inbound carrier has confirmed they have forwarded the message to the contact's handset (not all carriers provide this detail)
- Error - the message has failed, either after being sent to the carrier or it was filtered by Sakari. View all error codes in Sakari error codes and follow the steps in Troubleshooting message errors
