What does the Compliance status of a Sender mean? (US/CA)

The Compliance column indicates the status of the registration application for the specified Sender.

Local area code numbers

A 10DLC registration application has not been started, or an approved registration has not been aligned (see Update Compliance status for a Sender (US & CA)

Click the Register button to start your application, or align the number.

A greyed-out Register button indicates the local area number is not enabled for SMS.  The number must be in an Active status before an application can be submitted (see What does the status of a Sender mean?).

Pending

A registration application has been successfully submitted and is under review by Sakari or the carriers

Resubmit

The registration application could not be approved and can be resubmitted.  Review the recommendations from Sakari Support before resubmitting.  Click the Resubmit button to make changes.

Approved

The US SMS carriers have fully accepted the registration application

Toll-free numbers

The registration process for US/CA toll-free numbers is known as Toll-Free Verification, which is why different statuses are used.

Verify

The number requires verification and an application has not been started.

Click the Verify button to start your application.

A greyed-out Verify button indicates the toll-free number is not enabled for SMS.  The number must be in an Active status before an application can be submitted (see What does the status of a Sender mean?).

Pending

A verification application has been submitted and is under review by Sakari or the carriers

Resubmit

The verification application could not be approved and can be resubmitted.  Review the recommendations from Sakari Support before resubmitting.  Click the Resubmit button to make changes.

Verified

The verification application has been fully accepted by the US SMS carriers.

Compliance status for imported numbers

10DLC registration and toll-free verification for US/CA numbers imported to Sakari via number provider integration (e.g., Twilio, Aircall) are not handled by Sakari.  The Compliance status for these numbers will remain blank in Sakari.
