Allocate a Sender to one user only

  1. Create a Group (see Create and manage Groups)
  2. Attach the Sender to the Group
  3. Add only the relevant user's Sakari profile to the Group

Notes

  • Creating a Group creates an Inbox of the same name containing all messages that use the Sender attached to the Group
  • Only the user added to the Group can access outbound and inbound messaging on the Sender via the Inbox
  • The user in question must log in to Sakari using the email address on the Sakari profile added to the Group

Note for accounts utilising HubSpot workflows:

If using a HubSpot token in the Custom Send From field in the Send SMS action in a workflow, you must add a suitable Tag to the Group that corresponds to the output of the HubSpot token used, or this Group will not be referenceable by Sakari when running the workflow.

For example:

Token: Contact Owner Full Name -----> Tag required: full name of Contact Owner as it appears in HubSpot
