'Can not enable mobile numbers' error received for known landline (Hosted Messaging)

US landline/VoIP numbers may occasionally be identified as mobile numbers when added to Sakari, due to externally-referenced information.

In this event, please follow these steps:

  • create a ticket for Sakari Support by emailing help@sakari.io
  • provide a brief explanation
  • attach a recent invoice from the wireless provider that features the number and your business name

Sakari will use this information to verify your ownership of the number.  Once verified, Sakari Support will manually add the number to your account and provide the next steps.
