To ensure changes to the telephone number on a HubSpot Contact record are synced with Sakari, Archive all Conversations in Sakari that use the previous telephone number and then send a message from HubSpot.
Archive Conversations in Sakari
- In the left navigation, select Inbox
- Select the All Groups view
- Search for the previous telephone number
- Select each conversation
- Click the three dots icon and select Archive Conversation
Send a message from the HubSpot Contact
The next message sent from the HubSpot Contact will automatically update the number and associate it with the same HubSpot Contact ID in Sakari.
The initial mapping of a HubSpot record (a specific Contact ID) and a telephone number will be preserved in Sakari as long as an active Conversation exists in Sakari with that contact number. This preserves the attribution of subsequent messages to the corresponding conversation in the Sakari Inbox.
