  • Mobile: the phone number you wish to send the message to.
  • Country: the 2-character country code of the number you wish to send the message to (e.g. if you are sending to an American number, type "US")

and:

  • You're uploading a CSV (not XLS or XLSX) file
  • You have already created Custom Attributes in Sakari to receive information from any columns of data (additional to the Core Attributes) that you want to upload

Importing Contacts

  • In the left navigation, select Contacts > Add contacts
  • Select Import CSV to upload a list of multiple Contacts at once
  • Map the Contact Attributes to the column headers in your file upload
  • Exclude any attributes/column headers that you do not want or have not provided in this upload

Synchronise Contacts via an integration

All unique telephone numbers are copied to Sakari the first time an integration is connected.

Contact properties synced to Sakari

  • Telephone number
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address

New numbers are synced automatically within minutes.  An unsynced new number is synced instantly if Sakari receives a request from the integration to send a message to that number.

Same telephone number on multiple contact records

Contact telephone numbers are copied in the numerical order of the unique ID of the contact record.  No telephone number can be synced with more than one unique contact record ID.

Example

Contact record ID 123 in your integration has a telephone number "+12345678901", and Contact record ID 321 also has a telephone number "+12345678901"

What happens on initial synchronisation

  • +12345678901 is copied to Sakari
  • The values in the contact properties above from Contact record ID 123 are copied to Sakari
  • Message information from Sakari will be synced with Contact record ID 123
  • Contact and message information will not be synced with Contact record ID 321
