Overview
Sakari supports the use of custom attributes for your contacts. This lets you create new properties where you can add personalized data that is specific to your organization.
Attributes are associated with each contact and can be used to map fields in your contact imports. Attributes can be used to dynamically to input text in messages via token, or as conditions in campaigns to filter your contacts or lists.
Default Fields
- Phone Number (required)
- First Name
- Last Name
Data Types Available
Data Type | Acceptable Values |

Text | 123 Main Street, website domains, contact owners |
Number | 1234, -1234, 12.34 (do not include currency signs) |
Add a custom attribute
- In the left navigation select Contacts
- Click into the Custom Attributes tab
- Click the + Add Attribute button
- From here, you will name your attribute and choose the data type
- Text: Essentially any value can be entered on the contact
- Number: Integers (whole numbers) only. These will be limited to increments of 1
Delete a Custom Attribute
- In the left navigation select Contacts
- Click into the Custom Attributes tab
- Hover over the attribute you want to delete and click the trash can button on the right of the row
