Phone Numbers
Accounts located in the US, Canada, and GB will automatically be configured with a dedicated number, while other countries will be configured to send messages from a shared pool.
Limitations - US Traffic
US
For customers located in the US, accounts will be configured with a Local US number and enrolled in a Platform Free Trial campaign. Prior to upgrading to a paid account and having your 10DLC registration approved, your messaging will be limited with the following restrictions:
- Message sending to 10 unique contacts that opt-in via keyword
- Sakari Trial watermark
- Links, emails, images will be restricted from being included in message content
Canada
Customer trial accounts in Canada will be configured with a Canadian area code and configured to send only to Canada by default and not subject to US Restrictions.
If you wish to add the US as a destination for your configured number, you number will be subject to the US Platform Free Trial restrictions.
All other countries
Whether configured with a dedicated number or a shared pool number, your Sakari Free Trial comes pre-configured to start sending messages outside of the US.
Trial Limitations
All trial accounts are subject to the following limitations prior to upgrading to a paid plan:
- No links, emails, and images can be included in message body
- No purchasing additional / dedicated numbers
- No additional credits can be purchased
- US Messaging limitations (see Limitations - US Traffic)

What is a Shared-Pool Number?
Shared-pool numbers are random, non-dedicated numbers. These may be configured to send your message during your trial period
If you are located outside the US, Canada, or GB, messages sent while on a Sakari Trial account will be from one of the Sakari shared-pool of phone numbers.
