Overview
Sakari Custom Properties allow you to create new contact properties specific to your organization.
Access Custom Properties directly via Account Settings (Settings > Account Settings > Custom Properties) or via the Contacts panel (see below).
Add a Custom Property
From the Contacts panel
- Click the gear icon
- Click the + Add Custom Property button
From Account Settings
- Click Add Property
- Name your attribute and choose the Data Type

- Click Save
The Custom Property will be added as a column in the main Contacts view.
Add data to a Custom Property
Individually via the Contact Card
- Go to the Contacts panel
- Search for the Contact
- Open the Contact Card
- Select the appropriate Custom Property and make your edit.
To save changes, click the white checkmark (this only appears after a change has been made).
To multiple Contacts via CSV (bulk action)
- Create a CSV including
- a column containing the telephone number
- a column containing the data for the Custom Attribute (see Manage Contacts.)
- Re-upload the CSV to Sakari
- Map the Custom Attribute(s) to the column headers in your file upload
- All mapped Attributes will be overwritten with the data in the uploaded CSV
- You can optionally choose not to map any attributes/column headers that you do not want to edit

Delete a Custom Attribute
- In Account Settings > Custom Attributes tab
- Hover over the attribute you want to delete and click the trash can button on the right of the row
- This action deletes all data in that Custom Attribute from all Contacts
