If you are using the HubSpot integration the Sakari contact page widget is used for 1 to 1 messaging.
You can hide or show the Sakari SMS widget on the contacts page based on conditional logic.
One conditional logic you can use is the double opt-in method, having contacts text in 'START' to your Sakari number will populate an 'opt-in date' attribute in HubSpot contact properties This can be used to show only the SMS widget for contacts who have texted in 'START' to prevent messaging contacts who have not opted in.
To enable this follow the steps below;
- Go to a contact's page
- hit 'customize' with the gear icon next to the activities tab
- click into the 'default view' of the contacts record customization
- scroll down on the right hand side contact widgets to 'SMS'
- click the three dots and select edit conditional logic
- Now reference the screenshot below
To note you can instead use 'if' opted in is unknown, then 'hide' and this will. net the same result!
