By default, Sakari will attempt to send a message to any phone number type that has not opted out of communication. Sending a text message to a landline phone number will result in an error, and you will be charged for the attempt.
We offer an additional service to identify landlines before attempting to send a text message. By confirming a phone number as a mobile number, you will save money by avoiding text messages to landline numbers.
The cost for each number validation is $0.01 USD, and is turned on at the account level. Please see Advanced Settings.
