Prevent outbound messages from being sent to a specific Contact. Contacts can only be blocked in Sakari by an Account Administrator.
Once a contact is blocked, it cannot be unblocked. Further messages cannot be sent from your account to the associated telephone number until/unless an Opt-In Keyword is received on a number on your account.
From the Contact card
Open the options via the three dots on the top right-hand side:
From the Contacts section
- Individually select a Contact using the checkbox to the left of their name.
- Click the Block icon
By opt-out keyword
Contacts are also blocked if the contact texts an opt-out keyword (e.g. STOP or CANCEL) to one of your numbers (see Sakari Support for Opt-Out Keywords)
If you record a contact opt-out via another method (e.g. by updating a property in a CRM), this will not record a block in Sakari.
