Update the HubSpot Inbox Permissions

Overview

This article explains how to update the authorization permissions (scopes) for Sakari's HubSpot integration. Expanding or modifying these scopes allows Sakari to access additional HubSpot features and data points as needed for enhanced functionality.

 

As of April 1st, 2025, Sakari has released a new native HubSpot Inbox text messaging support.  In order to support this new functionality, additional permissions are required. 

Custom channels is currently restricted by HubSpot to Enterprise and Professional level plans.  If you are on a lower plan, a "missing scopes" error and/or "Re-authentication error" may persist on this screen.  You will still have full functionality except for the directly integrated HubSpot inbox.

How to Update HubSpot Integration Permissions

 

 

Step 1: Access the Sakari Integration Settings

Log in to your Sakari administrator account and navigate to Integrations > HubSpot

 

Step 2: Review Current Scopes

Click the "Re-Authenticate" button.

If you do not see this button, please proceed to Step 4, clicking save.  This indicates you already have the correct permissions, you just need to update to the latest inbox settings. 

 

Step 3: Connect App

Follow the HubSpot steps, and connect the Sakari App. 

 

 

Step 4: Save Settings

In Sakari, click the Save button in the top right to save your settings.
