Including the opt-out suffix ("Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel...", etc.)

Is it automatically included?

Free Trial accounts

The suffix "Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel" is added to all messages sent from Sakari-provided US local area code numbers on free Trial accounts in the United States (see Platform Free Trial (US Trial Accounts) FAQ).

It is not added to messages sent from the number after aligning it with an approved 10DLC registration specific to your Brand and messaging.

Paid accounts

Sakari does not automatically include the suffix in any other type of message sent from Sakari, regardless of the type of outbound number.

ActiveCampaign integration users can still add the suffix to messages sent via an automation from any number by selecting a Messaging Type of 'Marketing' in the Send SMS action (see Create an SMS Automation in ActiveCampaign).

When should it be added?

Sakari recommends including the suffix, or a version thereof, in all SMS messages.
