Upgrades and downgrades

Applicable to all monthly and Annual plans.

  • Plan changes are recorded instantly to the account.
  • Updated segment pricing takes effect immediately upon changing plans
  • Billing changes (to monthly or annual payments) take place at the end of your current billing cycle
  • Credit is added on the renewal date (your next subscription payment date)
  • Any existing credits on your account will carry over
  • All message segments will be deducted at the new plan rate going forward

If credit is required before the next payment date, add it to the account manually by following the steps in Add messaging credit manually.

Your billing cycle will not change unless you request it.  See Start new plan immediately below.

If you would like us to start billing your new plan immediately, confirm your new plan in the Hub and email Sakari Support at help@sakari.io to request that we reset your billing cycle, effective immediately.
