Unable to import Twilio number

Number is not shown

The number is not visible in the list of numbers available for import in Sakari.

Troubleshooting steps

  1. Confirm the Twilio Routing region on the phone number in Twilio matches the Routing region on the API credentials you have created.
  2. Select the next page of numbers using the arrow icon
  3. Search for the last four digits of the number in the search bar

Number cannot be selected

The number is visible, but cannot be selected via the checkbox, with the message "assigned to a non-Sakari messaging service".

Troubleshooting steps

The messaging service must be removed from a phone number in Twilio before importing.

If re-importing the number to Sakari after removing it from your Sakari account, please delete the SakariSMS-Twilio messaging service beforehand to ensure the number is re-imported with the most current configuration.
