Who is Sakari?
Founded in 2017, Sakari is a business text messaging provider based out of San Francisco, CA. With over 4,000 active HubSpot companies, Sakari is the largest SMS provider working natively with HubSpot.

What do I need to do to start service with Sakari?
To begin service with Sakari please:
- Create an account here: https://sakari.io/signup/
- Use the coupon code SMSZAP20 during account creation. This will provide 20% off all messaging plans for 6 months.
- Connect your HubSpot account using these instructions: HubSpot Setup Guide
- Send an email to help@sakari.io to confirm that you would like your phone numbers transferred from SMS Zap to Sakari.
After completing your account creation, the Sakari team will transfer your exiting SMS Zap phone numbers to your new account.
What data will be transferred from SMS Zap to Sakari?
If you choose to use Sakari as your HubSpot messaging, the SMS Zap team will port your phone numbers to Sakari.
Will my customers notice any disruption of service?
It should be minimal. For US Local phone numbers we expect a downtime of no more than an hour while your phone number is ported to the Sakari carrier.
Will my messaging history be preserved?
Timeline events in HubSpot will exist, but historical messages will not.
What if I don’t want to go with Sakari?
Please notify the SMS Zap support team that you would like to discontinue your service, and your SMS Zap account will be closed. No data or phone numbers will be transferred to Sakari.
Will my phone numbers be transferred automatically? How long does the phone number transfer take?
After creating your Sakari account and notifying the Sakari team, the Sakari team will initiate the phone number transfer.
This process will vary depending on the type of phone number on your account.
- US Local Phone Numbers - Please contact the Sakari team at help@sakari.io after creating your account, and the Sakari team will transfer the phone numbers automatically for you.
- All other phone numbers – Please contact the Sakari team at help@sakari.io after creating your account, and the Sakari team will transfer the phone numbers automatically for you.
Will I need to recreate my workflows in HubSpot? Yes.

How will 10DLC (10 Digit Long Code) Registration be handled?

Not sure what 10DLC is? 10DLC is required registration for businesses messaging from local phone numbers to recipients in the United States. You can learn more here: Learn about 10DLC
Sakari is unable to transfer your existing 10DLC. You will be required to complete a new 10DLC registration form. We can resubmit your 10DLC on your behalf.
What will my pricing be?
Using the coupon code SMSZAP20 during account creation will provide 20% off all messaging and phone numbers for 6 months. This coupon is not available for currently active Sakari customers.
Sakari offers monthly subscriptions which start at $16 USD per month and include one free dedicated US, Canada, United Kingdom or France phone number (other countries are available for an additional charge).

These plans are all month-to-month with no contract and you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Any unused credits in a month will roll over for a period of 90 days.
All messaging plans can be shared across your entire team, with unlimited users and contacts. Each plan is on a month-to-month term, with no contract, no per user fees, no setup fees and any unused credit will roll over for a period of 90 days.
