Depending on the country, laws or regulations may put restrictions on certain types of messaging, or even forbid certain things altogether. Messages which violate these rules may be subject to filtering.

Filtering of your outgoing messages can occur by Sakari as well as the downstream carrier.

Am I charged for filtered Messages?

Messages filtered by Sakari are not chargeable, messages filtered by downstream carriers are billed. 

Unwanted messaging is a problem in the messaging industry; leading to complaints, fines, or complete carrier disconnection of service.

In order to discourage abuse of the carriers network and to pay for the monitoring oversight, downstream carriers charge for all filtered messages.

How do I know if my messages are being filtered?

Filtered messages will display with an error code which is visible in your Sakari detailed message reporting.
