Message templates allow you to quickly load saved messages for reuse in 1-to-1 messaging or campaigns. SMS templates created in Sakari are for use within the Sakari dashboard only.
Create a new template
To create a new message template:
- In the left navigation, select Inbox
- Click on the Templates icon
- Click the Create button.
- Give your template a name and type your message.
- Click the Create button.
- Your new template is ready for use. Click the Templates icon to use it
Using templates
To use templates in 1-to-1 messaging or campaigns, select the template icon, then search for the template name and click on it to autofill your message. Editing the message afterwards will not affect the saved template.
Editing and deleting Templates
To edit or delete a message template:
- In the left navigation, select Inbox
- Click on the Templates icon
- search the name of the template you wish to edit or delete
- Click on the pencil icon to edit your template
- Or delete the template by hitting the trashcan icon

Can I use my SMS templates outside of Sakari?
The SMS templates created in Sakari are for use within the Sakari dashboard only.
I'm not creating my messages within Sakari. Can I use templates?
You can create SMS templates within integrated platforms that support 1:1 messaging. Please see the following articles:
