Send a text message to all contacts associated with a Deal. 

Create your workflow

1. In HubSpot selection Automations > Workflows in the top navigation
2. Click the Create workflow button
3. Select a Deal-based workflow.  Click Next.
4. Select your preferred trigger. 
5. Click the "+" icon to add a new workflow action.  Select the Sakari Send SMS action
6. You'll find it in the choose an action menu under Connected apps:

   

Configure the Send SMS action

The Send SMS action for a Deal-based workflow is different from a Contact-based workflow.

Send From Type

Define how the phone number your text message will be sent from is chosen.

• Group - Select Group to use a Sender (outbound number) from a Group on your account. 
• Custom - Select Custom to use a token or hardcode a phone number.

Send From

Select the phone number your text message will be sent from.

• Group - Select the Group containing the outbound number you wish to send from
• Custom
  • Insert the Deal Owner: Full Name token. 
    • Sends each message in the workflow from the telephone number in Sakari associated with the Deal owner 
    • Only supported when Deal owners have a separate dedicated Sender in a Group in Sakari tagged with their full name.
  • Hardcode a phone number.  This option is primarily provided for testing purposes and not typically used.

Add opt-out suffix?

• Yes - An opt-out suffix similar to "Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel." is automatically added by Sakari to all messages sent by the workflow.

These characters are included in the overall character count of your message.

• No - Nothing is added to your message.

Can I edit the opt-out suffix?

The opt-out suffix cannot be edited.  If you prefer an alternative opt-out suffix, please select 'No' and add your preferred language to your message template.

Message

The message you will send to your contact. This text can include: 

• Static text (e.g. Hello)
• HubSpot deal tokens (e.g. Deal name, Company, etc.)  These are added by clicking the Deal Token text above the field box.
• Emojis 👍
• Website Links

Media URL

The media field is used to send text messages with an image (MMS messages).  The image can be linked in two different ways: 

• Hardcoded URL - enter a hard coded link to an image URL (e.g. https://sakari.io/wp-content/uploads/sakari-logo-350x100.png)
• HubSpot deal tokens - add a HubSpot deal token to a property with an image URL
