Manage Conversations from HubSpot Inbox

 

Today, HubSpot doesn't allow app partners to link to the Conversations Inbox, but we can add SMS through an email flow. 

This is accomplished by triggering an email to your HubSpot Inbox email address every time a new SMS is received. This will then be visible in your Conversations Inbox.

PRO TIP: You can reply to the email address; your contact will receive it as a text message.

 

Setup

Before starting, please get in touch with the support team at help@sakari.io and ask to activate the Secondary Email option.

Enable the HubSpot Inbox in Sakari

Go to Integrations/HubSpot and toggle this switch 'on':

Select the Group

Select the Group from which you would like notifications to be sent.  Messages received by the number in this Group will trigger an email notification.

Select the HubSpot Conversations Inbox

Select the HubSpot Conversations Inbox to which you would like the notifications to be sent.

The 'Add another' function enables you to select different Groups to send to the same or multiple different Inboxes.

Secondary email

Sakari creates a new secondary email address from which to send each notification.  This email includes the Contact's phone number and a Sakari domain.

HubSpot accounts with a large amount of contacts (~20,000+) - Currently, this secondary email is applied automatically but may need to be done manually by the Sakari Support Team for accounts with a large amount of contacts.

To avoid contact duplicates, please contact Sakari Support to enable a secondary email property on your HubSpot Contacts.
