10DLC Campaign Description

Your description must be able to tell the intended purpose of the overall messages and should answer the following questions:

  • Who you are
  • Who do you want to reach
  • Why you are sending messages
  • Messaging frequency needs to be disclosed.

Please use complete sentences where possible and a minimum of 25/maximum of 500 characters.

Good Example

This campaign will be used for messages aimed at customers of [Brand], a car dealership service center. Appointment reminders, repair updates, satisfaction follow-up, online bill payment, and 2-way conversations. Messaging frequency varies.

Bad Example

Text messages are used for our team members to communicate with our customers and partners.

  • Why is it bad? It doesn’t say who you are or what you want to communicate.
