[Workflows] Google Sheets Export

Overview

This action will add a new row to a Google Sheet with data from the workflow

 


Setup

To configure this option, you must connect to your Google account and paste an accessible URL to your Google Sheet.  Your sheet must be set up the tabs and columns you will need to reference before you can complete the action configuration

Google Integration

  • Select an existing Google integration or click Add Integration to connect your Google account

Sheet

  • Input the Google Sheet URL
  • Your linked Google account must be able to access the Google Sheet

Connect Sheet

  • Once your URL has been input, click Connect Sheet

Tab Name

  • Select the Tab that you want to write a new row for from the dropdown

+ Column

  • Add a column that you want to map for the action to write data to

Column

  • Define the value you want to write to a selected property
    • Values can be user-defined or can be output properties from upstream in the workflow

Note:

The any changes to the Tab Name or selected columns may require reconfiguration of this action 

 


Output Properties

Output properties [add article link] are properties that an action or trigger generates that can be used by other triggers and actions downstream in your workflow. 

This action generates the following property option(s): 

  • none

 


Examples

Example 1

This example will create a row with the value Done in the Status column, and the value of the output property First Name in the Assignee Name column.  Any other rows in the sheet would remain blank
