Add Messaging Credit Manually


Overview

You can add credit to your account manually as follows. You will pay the same rate per segment as your current messaging plan.

Add credit manually

  • In the left navigation, select Settings > Plans & Billing
  • Select the General tab
  • Click the Add More Credits button and select your desired credit amount

The frequency and amount of manual account top-ups is not restricted.

Negative credit

When outbound messages cannot be sent due to a $0 balance, the charges for received messages will still be applied to your account.  In this scenario, received message charges will accumulate as a negative balance on your account.

Negative balances are cleared the next time you add credit (manually or automatically) by adding the negative balance amount to the top-up amount.
