FAQ

Can I use any link?

No. The link must be created in Sakari before selecting it in the workflow trigger.  Only unique, contact-specific links created in Sakari will work as the trigger.  This exclusivity ensures the effectiveness of the trigger.

How do I create the link?

In either order:

  • Use the URL Shortener in Sakari to create a unique short link for the page you want your contacts to visit.
  • Activate Contact Tracking in the Advanced tab of Account Settings

Contact Tracking appends a unique suffix, specific to the Contact, to your shortened link when you include it in a message.  When the link is clicked, Sakari recognizes which Contact has clicked it

Note

  • Sakari currently has a free shortened URL domain available. However, we strongly recommend you set up a custom domain for sending links/shortened URLs to ensure the highest deliverability.
  • Sending links in SMS is not supported on Trial accounts. Please upgrade to a paid Sakari plan.
  • There is no charge for creating shortened URL links in Sakari
