[Workflow] Message Status Changed (Enrollment Trigger)

Overview

The Message Status Changed trigger will enroll a contact when a message changes to a is sent or fails due to specified errors.

 


Setup

When configuring the trigger, you must define the status that the workflow will listen for.

Status

Specify enrollment criteria for contacts with new outbound messages that meet the message status:

  • sent
    • includes sent and delivered messages, depending on if Sakari has received a delivery receipt
  • error
    • select one or more error codes that will trigger enrollment of the contact into the workflow

Note:

The error field can be left blank to designate all errors

 


Output Properties

Output properties [add article link] are properties that an action or trigger generates that can be used by other triggers and actions downstream in your workflow. 

This trigger generates the following property option(s): 

  • Message
  • Group

 


Examples

Example 1

This trigger will enroll any contact where the outbound message is updated to sent or delivered
